Much like a woman, who evolves with the changing seasons of her life, wise iconic brands with nostalgic legacy – think Coca-Cola, Disney, Lego, Caboodles – do the same thing. Baby Magic, known for their pink packaging and beloved scents, is doing that in 2019.
Baby Magic has been making magical memories for moms for over 65 years, and, this year, not only are they launched cool new baby products, they have enhanced the formulation of their products.
While keeping the nostalgic scents your grandmother loved, Baby Magic debuts cleaner formulas which are free from sulfates, mineral oil, dyes, parabens, phthalates, talc and lanolin.
Grandma might not have flipped a bottle to look at labels, but her granddaughter does. The millennial mom also looks clean packaging, along with her gentle, safe, skin-loving products.
Baby Magic’s new baby skincare items come in three scents:
- Original Baby (that’s the one grandma will remember) ideal for normal to dry skin, featuring camellia oil and marshmallow root which moisturized and calms any inflammation
- Lavender Lullaby great for added night-time soothing, with aromatic lavender which can relax baby for bedtime. The collection also features chamomile and aloe for hydration.
- Sweet Buttercup (my personal favorite) is great for sensitive skin. Wash baby in calendula oil, coconut oil, and shea butter for super gentle botanical bath.
And, while previewing all these goodies at a most adorable event hosted by Mom Trends, which featured live bunnies the new mascot of Baby Magic, I was thrilled to learn about a few other new category products dropping later in the year. I can’t talk about those, but new moms should be on the look out.
For now, aside from the skincare assortment, I was intrigued by Baby Magic Multi-Purpose Hydrogel Patch. It’s sort of an all-purpose soothing patch. This cooling patch can help calm dry skin, sunburns, feverish body/head. It’s formulated with a blend of vitamin b12, camphor and aloe aimed to be a mom’s go-to in the house, car, bag and stroller.
FYI: I loved going to this event, and spending time with fellow mom content creators. We all have such different professional journeys and mothering styles, but we all appreciate quality products and spending time with one another.
