You are all kick-ass hustlers, working every corner of your cuddles-meets-crazy-meets-chaotic world, as best you.

So, wouldn’t it be nice to wear a handbag that actually works for your busy momlife, a handbag that gets that you need help keeping it all together, and can take you from work, to weekend, to grocery shopping, to day-of-play in the city, to yoga class, to the park, and beyond?

I’ve found three amazing handbags that hustle as hard as a mom.

I hope you like these handbag finds, as much as I do. And, if you already own any of them, drop a comment below or head over to Instagram and snap a photo of yourself wearing one of the below mentioned bags using hashtag #HustleLikeAMom.

J.Mater is what happens when two fashion-fierce women become moms and want a handbag that looks sleek, withstands vomit (yup tested that one myself!) and controls your chaos, aka the endless about out sh*t, I mean stuff, you have to carry around on any given day.

With three zip pouches ranging in sizes small (ideal for makeup), medium (loose papers, kids craziness, whips, crayons, crackers, extra undies/diapers…) and large (laptop friendly), plus a large zip wallet and changing pad, this handbag truly has it all handled for mamas.

Yes, I will be brilliant today, thanks to this multi-functional tote, ideal for the mom wholikes a bag with structure, i.e. not a slouchy shoulder bag.

The Be Brilliant Tote wins my vote for the super convenient zippered bottom compartment, ideal for a change of shoes. Go from school drop off to stiletto deal-maker, in minutes!

You’ll find lots of other zippers, compartments and takeout pouches for all your motherly roles/needs, but the spot for the shoes, that’s really the clincher.

A fashion-tech brand that’s ideal for a mama who is most likely to drive up to daycare playing Guns&Roses, DMX, or maybe a little ACDC for her kiddos, ANDI has that coolness factor woven into every fiber of this tote.

The Cameo Pink (other metallic and bold color ways available) is perfect for the busy commuter mom – or dad, as this is a unisex-friendly style. The tote can transform from a shoulder bag to a backpack with the ease of a few clicks.

Aside from being 100% vegan, the bags are waterproof and machine-washable. I don’t know about you, but when I hear “machine-washable” I get very excited!

Drop a comment below and let me know if you own any of these bags, or have other suggestions for handbags that hustle like a mom.

Enjoy the winter time in the city

Buying pieces of jewelry can be pretty expensive, even if it’s just costume jewelry. However, crafting handmade jewelry can mean much more than making nice pieces of jewelry pieces at lower cost; you can also make jewelry that closely matches your personal style and taste. By learning a few basic techniques, you should be able to construct unique styles of jewelry sets, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and more.

Try making Swarovski crystal earrings. These earrings are fairly simple to make, and only require two crystals for your charms, two jump rings, and two earring findings. You will also need a set of pliers to help open and close the jewelry pieces..

1. Buy a jewelry making kit. Jewelry making kits provide you with basic supplies and tools that allow you to customize different jewelry pieces and make them all your own. Most kits come with some basic instructions with different jewelry ideas, but you can use your imagination to create whatever kind of jewelry you want.

  • There are many variations of jewelry making kits depending on what specific kind of jewelry you want to make.
  • For example, there are beading jewelry kits, stringing jewelry kits, and wire jewelry kits, just to name a few.

Common skills and techniques that must be learned include opening jump rings, cutting wire, wire working, stringing, and using jigs and pegs, just to name a few.

Fashion tips for fall

Fall is a versatile season for fashion. The weather starts getting cooler, making heavier-knit fabrics, boots, and chunky accessories in vogue. The occasional mix of warmer weather also makes lighter clothing appropriate, as well. To be fashionable in the fall, stick with an autumn color scheme and wear clothing that seems sensible for whatever the weather is outside.

The most notable thing about fall fashion is the color scheme. Sticking with colors and patterns associated with autumn will lead you down the path of becoming fall fashionable. Consider the seasons natural color scheme. Autumn is most notable for the way the trees change color and shed their leaves. Form your color palette of the natural color palette by opting for colors associated with this process. Think reds, oranges, yellows, browns, and deep burgundy-violets.

Six 90s Fashion & Accessories You Actually Want to Wear

Hey mamas,

Last week, a pr firm sent me a fun package full of nostalgic candy from the 90’s, and Pretty Woman stick-on nails. It brought be back to the late 90’s when my mom let me purchase a pair of Sally Hansen stick-on nails in a light, French manicure print. I was fifteen and feeling fabulous.

Now, I’m thirty three and feeling even more fabulous. One reason could be the ridiculously wild, art-deco inspired stick-on nails I’m wearing! I wonder whatg the kids will think? I wonder what my husband will think?

I’m always looking for beauty short cuts, and it doesn’t get any easier than stick-on nails. Pretty Woman NYC has created really great options, and, as I type away, the sticky tape (I opted not to use the glue) is holding firm.

Each kit comes with 24 artificial nails, so you can find which size works for you. I have very tiny fingers and was still able to find the right fit, without having to file away sides.

90s Fashion Short Shorts

Who wears short shorts? Well, mom can wear short shorts, if the kids aren’t round or the kids are just too young to realize mom is hot enough to wear short shorts. Check out H&M for tons of affordable options under $20! #SexyMama

90s Fashion Denim on Denim

I can’t say I ever loved this look, although photos I recently uncovered prove otherwise – see below. When wearing several denim clothing items, I like to go with different shades. Or, I’m all about a denim bottom and denim cap. This acid wash denim cap is from Bebe -another 90’s relic I used to love. #WhereTheCoolKidsShop

90s Accessories Chokers

Blame it on Bella and Gigi Hadid, thaqt chokers are back. I don’t love the ultra thin, velvet styles from the 90s. I do enjoy a multi-strand option like the one you can create with StyleSting. For luxury buffs, Chanel recently got in a slew of divine choker options. If you’re in NYC, go to Bergdorf Goodman and ask for Ilona. #AllChokedUp

90s Tech Polaroid Camera

Your go-to accessory for upcoming picnic season is going to be a Polaroid. If you kept your old one, great. If not, you can buy one at Target. #TheOriginalInstagram

90s Beauty Press-on Nails

Save time, just press and go with Pretty Woman Designer Nail Kit available in 90’s beloved all-black nails and the nude French mani. #NailedIt

90s Fashion Crop Tops

This is an acquired taste – kind of like some your friends’ spouses . I also think, much like short shorts, this is something I wouldn’t rock at the annual family BBQ. I would do it on a vaca with the hubs. The photographed crochet top was purchased in Cuba, by me, nearly 15 years ago. But you can find similar styles at BooHoo or Forever 21. #BecauseIHitTheGym
